The Lehi Silver Band exists to provide community members with a welcoming, structured band experience with a variety of groups and performance opportunities. This allows members with varying skill levels and schedules to participate in the groups that fit them best while continuing to grow their abilities.
The Concert Band is the core ensemble of the Lehi Silver Band and performs in the following events each year:
Children's Concert (Spring)
Lehi City Memorial Day Program
Arts in the Park Concert (Summer)
Holiday Concert(s) (Fall/Winter)
Members of the other groups also play in the Concert Band.
The original Lehi Silver Band was formed to provide music for community events. The Event Band continues this tradition, playing for parades and community events throughout the year, including unveiling ceremonies for the Lehi Historical Markers program. To allow for flexible member attendance at events, Event songs are learned by all and practiced during Concert Band rehearsals.
The Percussion Ensemble is a non-audition group for community percussionists and Concert Band members who want to learn or grow percussion skills. They prepare 2-3 fun pieces for each concert.
Named for sterling silver, The Sterling Project delivers a high-energy mix of rock, pop, funk, and jazz tunes, powered by drum set, keyboard, and a range of wind instruments. Participation is by audition for performers who are ready to bring intensity, precision, and personality to the stage. They prepare 2-3 songs for each concert.
Rehearsals are Tuesdays starting at 7:00 PM and follow an alternating schedule.
