Requirements
Live close enough to attend rehearsals. You don't have to be a Lehi resident!
Age 16 and older (there are some exceptions)
Able to play high school level music (no audition needed for most groups—just come to a rehearsal and see if it's a good fit for you!)
Bring your own instrument (except percussion)
If you don't own your instrument, send us an email! Occasionally, we are able to purchase instruments and lend them to band members.

Rehearsals
Rehearsals are Tuesdays starting at 7:00 PM and follow an alternating schedule.
"A" Weeks
7:00 - 8:00 Concert Band
8:00 - 9:00 Percussion Ensemble
"B" Weeks
7:00 - 8:00 Concert Band
8:00 - 9:00 The Sterling Project
The 8:00 - 9:00 time slot can also be used for sectionals, small groups, or individual practice.

FAQ
How many rehearsals are required for each concert?
To effectively rehearse for concerts, we need a full ensemble for every rehearsal. We also recognize that each person's situation is different, and leave it up to the individual to balance what is best for them with what is best for the band. Communication in this area is important for concert planning. Please let us know if you plan to play in a concert but will unable to attend many rehearsals.
If you join the band shortly before a concert, you may not be able to join us for that concert, depending on how quickly you are able to prepare. Please talk to the director.
Does everyone play in parades?
Band members are encouraged to join us for parades, but not required. The band wagon only holds about 18 people.
